Staff Software Engineer (SRE)

Join our dynamic team as a Staff Software Engineer focusing on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and scaling our cloud infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, performance, and efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in software engineering and operations, while also mentoring junior engineers in the organization.

As an SRE, your responsibilities will include automating systems and processes, managing incidents, and developing monitoring solutions to proactively address system health and performance issues. You'll engage in hands-on programming to improve our systems, and participate in design and architecture discussions to influence our technical direction.

We are seeking candidates with a strong background in software engineering, particularly in languages such as Python, Go, or Java. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, along with knowledge of CI/CD workflows and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, will be crucial for your success in this position. You will also need to exhibit a solid understanding of security best practices and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This position is located in Seattle, and while remote working options may be available, we prefer candidates who can work onsite to foster better team collaboration and culture.
