What is SSL Certificate Expiration? | UpGuard

Your site has been configured with a https://www.upguard.com/blog/ssl-certificate from a trusted authority, but you're receiving risk findings that say your SSL certificate expired or is expiring. SSL/TLS certificates provide a critical security layer for your public web systems using the transport layer security (TLS) protocol (and its predecessor secure sockets layer or SSL).
