S3 Event based trigger mechanism to start ecs far-gate tasks without lambda

I set out recently to streamline an event based workflow on S3 bucket which made use of intermediate lambda’s to trigger a far-gate task and to pass metadata about the file that is uploaded into the bucket like (filename, bucket name etc).
