Let me start by saying this is a continuation on my previous story on Apache Brooklyn, if you haven’t checked it out yet, please do. After downloading extract the folder through appropriate methods, you will find apache-brooklyn-1.0.0-bin folder, route to bin and you can find start.bat file in the bin folder which starts brooklyn on localhost:8081 and this is where you will find the dashboard. As I discussed in my previous story, the different policies brooklyn provides to monitor and manage applications.
Let’s say I am deploying the above application which is made up of a cluster of tomcat-servers and an nginx proxy acting as load-balancer.
